  42 05.39  |  70 56.22

Current Volunteer Monitor: JOANN FIGUERAS

Site Description:

Little Namskaket is part of the Namskaket Creek Subwatershed (see Namskaket Creek). Although this creek does support extensive shellfish resources, like Namskaket Creek, Little Namskaket Creek is also closed to shellfishing. Likewise, it is listed on the 2006 Massachusetts 303(d) List of Impaired Waterbodies. Little Namskaket and Namskaket are the two main creeks in this subwatershed and so equally important areas to monitor the effects of the Tri-Town Septage Treatment Facility discharge to the groundwater in this subwatershed.
