The Center for Coastal Studies is an independent research organization dedicated to advancing marine science and deepening understanding of ocean ecosystems through scientific research and education.

Building the Next 50 Years

The future of our environment will be shaped by the decisions we make today. As part of our 50th anniversary, we have launched the CCS Endowment Campaign to help ensure the long-term stability and resilience of the Center through the establishment of a permanent endowment fund. This investment will sustain independent research, scientific innovation, education, and the development of future ocean stewards.
