ONLINE Spinnaker Exhibit
Click on the link above to learn about Spinnaker, a young female humpback whale whose life was cut short by entanglement, but whose death has provided researchers with a truly unique opportunity to learn about the often devastating effects that humans have on the ocean and its inhabitants. Spinnaker’s skeleton is housed in the Center for Coastal Studies, which is open to the public Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm.

SEA Space Marine Discovery Center
Located in Whaler’s Wharf on Commercial Street, just steps from the beach, SEA Space offers interactive exhibits and fun, guided activities for kids and adults.

Scientific Publications
Our scientists publish their work regularly in peer-reviewed publications and technical reports. Many of those papers are available for download online or directly from our staff.

Newsletters
As part of the Center’s efforts to minimize our impact on the natural environment, we are taking the bulk of our outreach and communications online. If you have not yet done so, please sign up now to receive our online newsletter, Pelagic Almanac. You can also receive up to the minute news on our Facebook and Instagram pages and Twitter feed, and watch videos on our YouTube channel.
