Great Beach Cleanup

Join the CCS Beach Brigade for our annual Great Beach Cleanup covering the entirety of the outer Cape Cod National Seashore. The cleanup will run for four days from October 2-5 and the Tally will run four days from October 7-10. Our most challenging annual cleanup and documentation effort, we count on dozens of volunteers for this one!

Expect dynamic weather, from sun and heat, to sleet, rain, and wind. Each day of cleaning involves 6-10 miles of walking on sand — bring water, snacks, lunch, and a can-do attitude! Each day of tallying involves standing on concrete and sorting thousands of debris items — bring comfy shoes and that same attitude, and only stay as long as you like!
