SEASpace opens for the season on June 23, 2025.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 11 am to 5 pm.

Experience the natural wonders of Cape Cod under the expert guidance of our dedicated educators at SEASpace Marine Discovery Center.  Come in and learn about local marine life such as whales, seals, sharks, sea turtles and more.  See what is happening in our salt water tank, or join us for one or our weekly tidal flats or Junior Rescuer programs.

The Center’s annual Whale Week: A Celebration of the Sea begins on August 3, 2025. Check our calendar for special events and activities.

Get to the Bottom of It!
Become a junior marine biologist! Collect and take an up close and personal look at the tiny marine animals in Provincetown Harbor. This program is designed for kids age 5-12.

Junior Disentangler
CCS pioneered freeing swimming whales entangled in fishing gear in 1984.  Techniques created here have now been exported to rescuers all over the world. Learn what it takes to free a whale or turtle trapped in gear.  See the tools, learn how our MAER team works in the field, and try your hand at “rescuing the whale”.  This program is designed for kids ages 6-12.
