The Humpback Whale Studies Program welcomes graduate student, Vania Rivera Leon. Vania is a student of our geneticists, Drs. Per Palsbøll and Martine Bérubé, at the University of Groningen (The Netherlands). She is joining us through UMass Boston to participate in a long term study of the molecular genetics of the Gulf of Maine humpback whale population.
