Details will be sent to all registered volunteers as the cleanup date approaches. \nCLEANUP \n\n\nDate: Friday\, May 1st\, 2026\nTime: 2pm – 4pm\n\nLocation: Provincetown East End (across from the Harbor Hotel at Snail Road) \nNO TRASH TALLY \nMuch of what we find in the rip-rap must be cut out with sharp knives in order to extricate\, which prevents us from tallying by count. Working in teams\, we record the data on clipboards as we collect the debris. DESCRIPTION:Join the CCS Beach Brigade for our annual Great Beach Cleanup covering the entirety of the outer Cape Cod National Seashore. The cleanup will run for four days from October 2-5 and the Tally will run four days from October 7-10. Our most challenging annual cleanup and documentation effort\, we count on dozens of volunteers for this one! \nExpect dynamic weather\, from sun and heat\, to sleet\, rain\, and wind. Each day of cleaning involves 6-10 miles of walking on sand — bring water\, snacks\, lunch\, and a can-do attitude!
