Year round, Cape Cod is arguably one of the best spots in the world to see whales from shore, while spring offers the greatest opportunity to spot the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale. Join staff from the Center for Coastal Studies for a discussion and walk on watching whales from shore. Learn what species are visible from shore and how to identify them, and if we’re lucky spot some whales. Please bring your own binoculars. Wear comfortable shoes for hiking in soft sand, walk may be up to three miles. Dress for the weather! We will meet at the Herring Cove Bath House at Herring Cove Beach Provincetown.
