Lecture: Creature Feature
November 30, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Presented by Agnes Mittermayr, CCS Marine Ecologist
The Center for Coastal Studies is engaged in a vast array of scientific studies focusing on our dynamic physical coastline and the marine invertebrates living in and on the seabed. Come and meet tube worms, larval horseshoe crabs, tiny clams, isopods, and more in this Creature Feature. With spectacular magnified images, Agnes Mittermayr, Marine Ecologist in the Geology Department and Seafloor Mapping Program, will introduce you to the nature of the cool critters discovered, and learn how to get involved as a volunteer to support these projects.
This talk is scheduled as part of the Holly Folly Open House. It is free and open to the public.
The presentation will be held at the Center for Coastal Studies’ Hiebert Marine Lab, 5 Holway Ave, Provincetown, MA.
