Field Walk: From Dunes to Sea

June 22, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am

Join Center for Coastal Studies biologist Lisa Sette and poet and naturalist Elizabeth Bradfield for a guided walk through the dunes to the sea at High Head in North Truro.  Learn about the fascinating plants and animals that thrive in the dunes of Cape Cod.  And if we are lucky, we will observe a gray seal haul-out on the sand bar just off the beach.  We’ll take advantage of whatever our time in the field will offers us!

This walk will cover up to two miles and travel in soft sand and hilly terrain. Dress for the weather in layers, wear comfortable shoes for walking, and bring binoculars if you have them. Also bring drinking water.

Pre-registration is required.
Suggested donation is $10 for CCS Members and $15 for non-members.

To register CLICK HERE on this link for the registration page.

This walk is limited to 12 people, so sign-up today! Directions to meeting location will be given to registrants.
