    Grand Reopening of Shop & New Exhibit

    (Provincetown, Cape Cod, MA) - The Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies (PCCS) will celebrate the grand reopening of the gift shop and the new Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary Exhibit on Friday, May 23, 2008 from 4 p.m. through 6 p.m.

    The PCCS gift shop and interactive exhibit are located at 115 Bradford Street and will be open daily from 11 a.m. through 6 p.m. beginning Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

    PCCS is pleased to host the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary exhibit. The hands-on interactive exhibit features touch-screen technology and provides an overview of marine mammals found in the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. Plankton samples, whale disentanglement tools, baleen, and whale bones are among the items on display. The gift shop carries assorted guides along with children's books and signed novels related to the marine environment. The shop also stocks a full line of PCCS apparel including sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats and children's clothing. For more information about the shop or exhibit call 508-487-3622.
