Massachusetts Ocean Management Plan
The Oceans Act of 2008 requires the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs develop a comprehensive ocean management plan for Massachusetts waters by December 2009. The team of Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) staff has made a remarkable effort of developing a draft Ocean Management Plan for Massachusetts’ waters. Contributions by some of the best scientists in their fields enhance the quality of the draft plan, as do the contributions of the many stakeholders and interested citizens who attended listening sessions and other public forums.
The Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies is deeply committed to preserving coastal and marine ecosystems.
