Coastal and Marine Photography Workshop

PCCS and the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill invites nature photographers to explore Cape Cod for a three-day photographing whales workshop; June 19th-21st. Participants will learn about local marine life, and techniques for capturing intimate and active portraits of these animals.Join photographer, naturalist and educator, Jesse Mechling for a two-day workshop photographing whales, seals, and the coastal environment of Outer Cape Cod. The workshop includes two water-based whale watches, a hike to a local seal haul out (weather permitting), and a potential sunrise/sunset shoot at one of the Cape’s iconic lighthouses.$275. Coastal and Marine Photography Workshop

Join award winning photographer and education director, Jesse Mechling for a two-day landscape and wildlife photographic workshop; September 6-8th. The lifeblood of Cape Cod is the connection between our communities and the surrounding coastal and marine environments. The Cape’s magnificent light, unfettered landscapes and wondrous wildlife has inspired people and artists for generations. Participants will learn how to shoot unique landscape images and take quintessential Cape Cod photographs. The workshop includes a whale watch, two morning and one afternoon shoot at iconic Cape Cod locations, as well as time for review. $250.
