December 27 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Dr. Charles “Stormy” Mayo, senior scientist and director of the Right Whale Ecology Program at the Center for Coastal Studies,  will discuss the status of the species and its recent decline, the seasonal arrival of the right whales, and the critical role that Massachusetts waters play in the species’ uncertain future.

The talk will be extensively illustrated with slides and video taken during research cruises.

This free presentation is part of the Center for Coastal Studies’ Winter Lecture Series, which is supported by Napi’s Restaurant at 7 Freeman Street in Provincetown. Participants are encouraged to arrive at 5 pm and enjoy Napi’s special early bird dinner.
