Nantucket Coastal Conference

The Nantucket Coastal Conference is a daylong symposium of talks covering topics about Nantucket coastal projects, coastal management issues, impacts to natural resources and research currently being done.
The conference is for coastal managers, environmental organizers, town officials and staff and anyone interested in learning more about issues related to Nantucket’s coast.
Guest speakers will include Mark Borrelli, PhD, Director of the Center for Coastal Studies Marine Geology program, and Steve Mague, adjunct scientist; they will discuss their research into the storm-tide pathways on Nantucket.
The conference is presented by the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management, the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension, and the Woods Hole Sea Grant. The complete agenda and registration will be available May 5.
